Roasting

Lazy Sunday is an easy roast that is easy to drink. It mellows and becomes warm to your senses. The cocoa bean from Latin America is used to smooth the brew while Africa provides citrus notes to balance. The result is a cup that can be consumed by itself, or with cake or milk chocolate. It also goes well with lemon drizzle cakes or simple vanilla sponges extremely well.

We recommend the French Press method to brew this coffee. Preheating your vessel by adding some water that is just boiling will keep it warm. After making the coffee, let it infuse for 4 minutes. This ensures that all the grounds have been filled with water and are not being over-extracted. The water should be forced through the grounds by the plunger, do not stir or agitate the coffee, this can cause unpleasant elements to enter your cup.

Strength - 3, gentle and easy to go, great for relaxing at the weekend.

Storage

Lazy Sunday is a smoky light roast with an uplifting scent of cocoa and citrus. It has a smooth touch and a soft mouthfeel. The cocoa hints can be traced back to a winter's afternoon spent on the couch with a good book and an embrace from the family. To brew your coffee, first heat up your French Press with off boil water. This will prevent the coffee from becoming over extracted and causing undesirable elements in your drink. Add your grounds and 250ml of water that has been taken off the boil. Steep for 4 minutes, plunge and enjoy.
